26 Days of Mindfulness
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is being aware of our thoughts, body, and surroundings without judgement. It’s called a practice because it is something we can never perfect, but always improve. Throughout the day our minds wander, we zone out, and we over-react at times. This is normal and human! The practice means we can begin again, gently, without criticizing ourselves.
There is also mindfulness meditation, where specific meditation practices help strengthen our focus. But not all meditation has a mindful focus, and not all mindfulness requires meditation.
Benefits of mindfulness
Studies show that regular practice of mindfulness and mindful meditation leads to better mental health, physical health, mood regulation, and focus.

J is for Jettison
Close your eyes a minute and picture something being jettisoned. Is it garbage being launched into a star before a ship jumps to warp speed? Even if you don't imagine something that dramatic, chances are it's something related to junk being discarded to make systems...
I is for Inspire
What inspires you? Who brings out the best you? Have you told them? Even if it's someone you've long lost track of, write them a letter and safely burn it to spread the smoke and ashes into the world. If they are still in your life, tell them how they've helped you!...
H is for Hug
Hugs are the best thing. That's the post. Hug a friend, family member, a pet, yourself. Enjoy the moment.
