Take room for what matters

We have thousands of thoughts each day. On top of that we are bombarded by ads, we have notifications for everything, we consume media at levels far higher than any time prior. We face pressures from society, our families, and ourselves. How do we sort through all of these signals and lead a life we want and is consistent with our values?

If we do not intentionally take the time to prioritize our focus and honor our values, something else will take the time from us. I teach a proven system to help reclaim time and focus lost to noisier demands.

Filter the noise

With the nonstop input of messages and signals, it’s easy to get lost in the noise. Most of us either try to do too much, or we freeze and do nothing. Both are normal, as is everything in between.

But there is a better, healthier, and more rewarding way.

Do less to accomplish more

By cutting out what isn’t necessary we can focus on what really nourishes us.

FAQ

Is a Bullet Journal complicated?

Not at all! The original Bullet Journal is designed to be streamlined and efficient. While there are many examples of intricate trackers and layouts out there, all you truly need is paper and pencil. (I also use a small ruler).

Most of the time investment is at the beginning – learning the method and investing in time for deep reflection. The time invested in both the preparation and reflection is more than made up when you stop doing the things that take you away from your goals.

Why take a Bullet Journal course when I can read the book or see free online content?

First I do hope you read the book, it’s fantastic. You can order it here from a dear friend’s bookshop or anywhere books are sold. (This is not an affiliate link)

The Bullet Journal also has a YouTube channel full of resources.

There are also many social media accounts that claim to teach how to create a Bullet Journal, but actually don’t. What you get with a Certified Trainer are personalized workshops to help guide you and be there to answer questions. We’ve been through a rigorous training course and passed evaluations to ensure we are knowledgeable and qualified to teach the Bullet Journal Method. You can be assured you will learn from someone experienced in the official Method and capable of teaching it.

Do I need a specific journal?

Nope! You may want to start with whatever you have available until you are more sure of your needs.

There is an official Bullet Journal journal in both Pocket and A5 sizes. An A5 is approximately 6×8″. It easily fits into a laptop bag, some purses, backpacks, etc. The Pocket is nice if you are on the go a lot during the day and do not carry something the A5 can fit into.

Leuchtturm has a wide variety of sizes and colors and rulings. They make the official journal as well.
