A

Acknowledge is such a powerful word. What does it mean to you?

In both Bullet Journal and meditative language, it’s a chance to recognize events and actions in our lives without judgement. Reflecting on the good events reminds us of the moments of joy, while growth comes from learning from negative events.

Go as deep as you want. Acknowledge the positive things you had control of in the last year, as well as negative experiences you want to learn from. The hardest part is to do the latter without judgement.

Treat yourself as if you were talking to your best friend.

This post is part of the 26 Days of Mindfulness. For more ways to participate and follow along (not matter what time of the year) click the button below.

Even if you do not Bullet Journal, I encourage you to write down your reflections. Physically writing on paper encourages deeper thought and longer memory retention. Slowing down is the feature.
