26 Days of Mindfulness
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is being aware of our thoughts, body, and surroundings without judgement. It’s called a practice because it is something we can never perfect, but always improve. Throughout the day our minds wander, we zone out, and we over-react at times. This is normal and human! The practice means we can begin again, gently, without criticizing ourselves.
There is also mindfulness meditation, where specific meditation practices help strengthen our focus. But not all meditation has a mindful focus, and not all mindfulness requires meditation.
Benefits of mindfulness
Studies show that regular practice of mindfulness and mindful meditation leads to better mental health, physical health, mood regulation, and focus.

M is for Make
Just make something! It can be practical, it can be art, it can be both. Make cookies, make a dog house, make a friend. It doesn't have to be perfect, pretty, or even work. Just enjoy the process of creating something.
